Planning Appeals

A free, no obligation, appraisal of the decision.

We can’t guarantee that an appeal will be successful, but we can give you an honest indication of whether an appeal would be worthwhile. You can either call us or email your contact details, quoting the Council and the application number. We’ll do the rest.

Submission of a planning appeal:

If you submit an appeal with us, we will:
Give you advice as to which type of the appeal is appropriate.
Submit the appeal statement and all the necessary supporting documentation.
Write a robust statement. This will take into account:
  • The site and its surroundings
  • Any relevant planning history
  • A thorough assessment against national and local planning policy.
  • The council’s reasons for refusal (their case will be deconstructed and any weaknesses / contradictions in the reasons for refusal will be exploited).
  • Any recent case law and similar decisions to support the case.

Tell you whether you have any reasonable grounds for a costs award.

Keep you regularly updated about its progress. This includes any submission of written evidence. We wlll also give you a clear time scale for the appeal .
